This is the TEST DEPARTMENT!
In this part of the site, I will perform various tests on your request
(and my own curiosity). I will test any idea that I find interesting,
to see how good (or bad) they are in the looong run.
As said in the Disclaimer (MAIN / Oops' Home page)
ALL RESULTS ARE REFLECTING THE FILES WE USE! They may NOT be reflecting future gambling at
a casino!
Most - if not all - of the tests that involve betting will, undoubtedly, show negative
results, please be prepared for this. The nature of roulette is, that in the long
run you are bound to lose and the tests will be performed on data from more than
three full years (see "The Files Used" in the MAIN section).
What we are looking for here, is not high profits but SMALL LOSSES! If the
average loss is very small, compared to each unit (chip) gambled, then - of course - there
have been times of good winnings. Winnings and losings rarely break even after
a full days play. Some days you are winning and other days you are
losing; you rarely have a day of zero net. And in tests like the ones I'm performing - full
days gambling in the very
long run - a really bad system will show really bad figures. On the other hand; a good system
will show losses that are equal to, or under, the house edge (1/37 or 0.027027 for a single
zero wheel) and such systems, I think, are worth considering... (But who knows; maybe we'll
be lucky to find a way to beat the wheel - or at least the files we use - some day)
I will try to test all sorts of systems or ideas but there is one kind I, quite
naturally, can't test: Wheel Clocking Systems. There is, of course, no such data
in the files. Also; biased wheels (and biased dealers) systems can be a problem, as I cannot say which
files have such a wheel/dealer. But if you have an idea of how to find it out, I will gladly
both try that and perform a system test! If both are sent to me according to the
"Terms For Testings"
I hope you will enjoy!

PS. Please read the Terms For Testings at the Test Home Page! Thank you!
