LAW of DISTRIBUTION
Please note: This table was updated with "repeaters" Nov 6th 2000
The tables in this section will answer the question "How many
different numbers are there in a sequence of spins (6 to 40)?" and
"How many different REPEATING numbers are there in the same lengths of sequences?"
The answers are shown in the form of tables with the totals of different numbers and repeaters
for each sequence (also in %, and total number, of sequences).
Example (bottom of page)
To make these tables, every length of sequence (6 to 40) got its own 40 counters (one
for every number of different numbers within each length) and every single number got its own
"flag". When scanning the sequence, the single-number "flags" were set -
incremented by one - for each number found. After the scan, the "flags" that were set
was counted and the result was inserted into the appropriate length / numbers counter.
The "flags" showing a figure higher than one was counted and inserted into the
"Repeaters" table. After this the "flags" were re-set.

The longer the sequence to be checked is, the fewer there are in a day. This is why the total
of investigated sequences is lower for long ones than for short.
Top of Page
As there are four files (in "the German Files" set) with only 50 spins per day it
seemed use-less to make statistics from them so only the files containing spins for full days
were run in this session.

Both tables are pretty straight-forward to read:
1st col indicates the length of the scanned sequence.
2nd col indicates the number of different numbers / repeaters in the length.
3rd col shows how many such sequences were found.
4th col shows the same as col 3, but in % of the scanned sequences of this length.
Example:
This is an excerpt from the table
Lth NoD N o F % o T
----------------------------------------
...
36 24 61887 19.393
...
The above should be read:
When scanning sequences of 36 spins, there were 61,887 sequences (or 19.393%
of all 36-spins sequences) found with 24 different numbers.
