CAN A ROULETTE SYSTEM REVIEW BE UNBIASED?
| I believe, that a review of a system never can be objective! |

I have my preferences and you have yours;
as simple as that, and I write what I honestly think about the systems in the reviews. If I think the system
is ?% I say so. If I think it has potential to be, or really is, a winning system, I say so.
BUT REMEMBER, it is what I think! It is all MY thoughts!
What you see to the left, is objective; it's the plain facts of the system (this system, from the
Free Systems page, is used only as an example). It tells you the raw facts you need, to balance
my words.
A table, like the one to the left, starts all reviews.

This is what I do when I review:
* I make a thorough theoretical analysis of the system.
* I use the system for at least 100 spins with 1.5 to 2 minutes in between to see that it is usable. Those spins are spun (by a friend) on my hobby wheel and I calculate and bet just as for real.
* I use the system on recorded spins for at least four "days" using different casino spins. This is done by hand to get a "feeling" for the system. This excercise gives at least 1,000 spins.
AND; * I'm doin' "ONE YEAR IN HAMBURG" for your sake... Imagine, for a minute, that
you go to a good casino for a full year, bringing a new bank-roll of 300 units,
(or whatever the system demands) every day, and use the system (betting High, if even bets) for six, maybe eight, hours...
Every day! That is what I will do with every reviewed system!

SPIELBANK HAMBURG have published their
spins (single zero!) from table #1 for every day for more than a year. That's what is used here - September 1st 1998 to Aug 31st 1999.
I start the first session, every day, at the recorded spin #20 and go on for a total of 180 spins - approx six hours - or,
if there is an ongoing session at that spin, until that session ends or at most 60 spins more - i.e. up to and including
the 259th recorded spin. (That is; if the table doesn't close earlier) At that spin, an ongoing
session is breaked and the next day, a new session is started. A day is also considered ended,
if less than 37 spins (an hour...) are left when a session ends, or if the bank-roll will become negative if betting.
All this, if the instructions doesn't say otherwise - such things will be noted.

The reason to set a limit (in hours) is, that any normal human being (who is?) could not possibly stay at a casino
for more than eight hours a day for a year. And we are human beings, buying expensive systems and using
them. So I think that, for a review, this way of trying a system is good - I use the system the way it is used in real life.

After the last bet, every day, I note the net and accumulated results. If I hit the table-limit; it
is there as well as number of winnings. This is all shown in a separate text-page while only the net
result of the day is shown in a graph. What you see to the right is the summary. Click the links!
A table, like the one to the right, ends SOME reviews - if the originator/vendor has mailed me the system/book and permits me to publish the detailed results. Otherwise I will tell you in words. (Graphic output idea by Rolf)

What min- and max-bets do I use? At SPIELBANK HAMBURG
the following table is published (This is DEM):
| Minimum All bets | 5 | 10 | 20 |
| Maximum | | | |
| Single num | 200 | 400 | 600 |
| 2 numbers | 400 | 800 | 1 200 |
| Sing strt | 600 | 1 200 | 1 800 |
| 4 numbers | 800 | 1 600 | 2 400 |
| Dbl strt | 1 200 | 2 400 | 3 600 |
| Doz & Col | 3 500 | 7 000 | 10 500 |
| Even ch | 7 000 | 14 000 | 10 500 |
|
|
As it is not noted which column is for table 1, I use the left and middle columns as they give
more units than the rightmost. I hope you approve.
Simply remove one zero from all figures in the middle column and you get the units.

The following days/files are missing in the archives:
1998: Oct 11, Nov 15, 22, Dec 24, 25
1999: Jan 6, Feb 22, Mar 15, Apr 2, May 19, 26, 30, Jun 12, 13, 18
The following days are special:
September 4 1998: Only 2 spins recorded
May 31 1999: The file is there but no spins recorded
June 11 1999: Only 16 spins recorded
This makes a total of 347 days to use. In the tables, all 365 days are shown; in the graph there
is no marking for those days and in the text there is a "--".
As the files contain notings of dealer-changes, it is also possible to review systems depending
on such.
