MY GARAGEBAND-BAND

This page (and the tune-pages) doesn't look so good in the Opera-browser... Sorry.

WHAT IS THIS?

* It's music(?), made by me in GarageBand (Mac's "free" sequencer)
* I only use "software instruments" (no audio-files)
* "The band" is seen in the images above + occasional "guests"
* I write every note (no "pre-fab"-loops, no keyboard)
* And it's only instrumental! (Have neither lyrics nor a singing voice...)

But my starting conditions may not be the best:

* I hear in only one ear (Stereo - what's that?)
* And there I've got a "rock'n'roll-dip" (Mid-range - what's that?)
* Plus full tinnitus all over (Cymbals? What cymbals?)
* And I am a TOTAL BEGINNER in all respects!

And I can't really play any of the instruments :D

So why use GarageBand at all???
-Because it's such incredible FUN! That's all...

Project "TWENTY-FOUR HOURS"

SUNRISE (24hrs part 1)

MORNING (24hrs part 2)

2010-11-25: Mix 4 (3min 29sec - 4.8MB)

2010-11-27: Mix 3 (3min 24sec - 4.7MB)

Guest artists: Two Acoustic Guitars

This very un-structured project is for me to really try to learn to handle GarageBand AND write music. And to arrange.
And to make it more in the style I want. (It's a long way to get there...) All this in "twenty-four hours".
But I think it's better to learn how to handle the program and the "instruments" before trying to get the style right...

There is also a third tune ("Late Morning") in progress - but these things take time! And more time...
I will also re-mix the tunes as I learn more about that - date and mix-number is found below the title.

I just hope that you don't think it sounds too bad... (You may comment on them when you listen)
